Maverick and Jax

I would like to introduce you all to my two favorite fluff balls, Jax and Maverick.  They are my brother and sister-in-law's dogs and for Christmas I decided to do portraits of them as gifts.  Maverick was done first, and Jax was finished earlier this week.  

The medium I used was oil pastel.  It was my second time working with this medium; the Christmas card I made was the first time.  I really enjoyed the oil pastels and am sure that this won't be the last time.
